We offer optic cuts utliizing the Trijicon RMR Adaptor Plate System on most series 70/80's 1911/2011's. This cut is only available for people who have purchased their own Trijicon Adapter plate. This does not include anything other than the plate cut and front sight fitting. If you're unsure of the fitment, please call us first. Non-novak front sights will require fitting. If you choose to go without a recoat you will see the file marks.
In some instances, we will need to modify the pocket on the Trijicon plate itself. We see this mostly on series 80 1911's.

*Series 70/80 are available for this type of plate. Series 90 is not.* SLIDE MUST HAVE FRONT SIGHT DOVETAIL ALREADY CUT IN*

i sent in my adapter plate and red dot and it came back all installed. they said it would take 8 weeks and it took 8 weeks. I did not bother them and they did not bother me

Optic cut
This was my first time sending a firearm off to have any type of work done to it. Vulcan did an optic cut and dlc coating on my 1911 a2 and let me just say, wow! They did an amazing job,period.

2011/1911 Trijicon Plate system
Great work. Clean cuts with no tool marks. Cerakote was well performed with no irregularities. Red dot was mounted firmly and no issues were found. I would not hesitate to send another .

1911 Trijicon Plate System and DLC Coating
Vulcan is top notch! They deserve all of the praise, got my slide cut and dlc coating from them. The DLC coating is flawless and the plate system fit like a glove for my SRO. I recommend them for all of your 1911 needs. My only advice is you gotta be patient with them. It took awhile for me to get my stuff back but it was worth the wait.
