Customer Service / LE Representative

Vulcan Machine Werks, Inc. is looking for a positive and professional Customer Service / LE Representative to join our growing team in Plano, TX. In this role, you’ll be our customers’ first point of contact, responsible for delivering a best in class customer support experience.

Customer Service / LE Representative Job Responsibilities:
•    Serves customers by providing product and service information via Email and Phone.
•    Attracts potential customers by answering product and service questions and suggesting information about other products and services.
•    Opens customer/LE accounts by recording account information.
•    Maintains customer/LE records by updating account information.
•    Maintains financial accounts by processing customer adjustments and or credits.
•    Recommends potential products or services to management by collecting customer information and analyzing customer needs.
•    Maintains Vendor, Sales, and Firearm Records
•    Helps keep shop clean, organized, and maintained with fellow team members.
•    Prepares product or service reports by collecting and analyzing customer information.
•    Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
•    Contributes to trade/vendor shows as needed.
•    Shipping / Receiving responsibilities.

Customer Service / LE Representative Qualifications / Skills:
•    Must be legally able to possess, own, and work with firearms/NFA restricted items.
•    Interpersonal and customer service skills is an ABSOLUTE Must.
•    Professionalism, integrity, dedication, and possess sense of urgency is an ABSOLUTE Must.
•    Analytical and problem-solving skills is an ABSOLUTE Must.
•    Multitasking and organizational skills are an ABSOLUTE Must.
•    Must be mechanically inclined.
•    Computer literate with Microsoft Office suite knowledge.
•    Firearms/Coating Industry background preferred but not required.
•    The ability to be prompt and on time.
•    Time-management and Self-management skills is an ABSOLUTE Must.
•    Ability to answer a high volume of calls and/or emails daily (in the order they came in).
•    Ability to work in a team environment.
•    Attentiveness and patience with customers/government contracts.
•    Ability to find the positive in any situation.
•    Providing introductory information to new customers.
•    Ensuring customers/government contracts are satisfied with products or services.
•    Following up with clients or customers that call in for status checks.
•    Letting customers or clients know about additional products or services.
•    Determining the quickest and most effective way/s to answer a client/customer’s questions.
•    Escalating queries and concerns to management or appropriate team members.
•    Troubleshooting common issues with a product or service(s).
•    Working within a team of other CSRs /other departments to find appropriate solutions to client needs in a timely and efficient manner.
