Our optics cuts are precision CNC milled to exacting tolerances to give you industry leading performance. A primary feature of our cradle cutting method is the fact the optic will be tight in the cut and will have extremely little to no ability to move once in place (this is by design). Our cuts will also have precise and consistent recoil bossing (where available) to add strength to the cut. This is to ensure the repeated reciprocal forces from firing are not translated exclusively to the mounting screws. No matter if you are in military/law enforcement community, competition community, or personal defense community, our cuts will ensure your optic survives the harshest of firing schedules.
P220/225/226/227/228/229 will have an exposed Safety Block after the optic cut. If we do not have your optic to mount after the work has been completed, you have to insert your Safety Block Spring then mount the optic to hold that assembly in place. P226 Optic Cuts are limited due to the lightening pocket on the underside of the slide. If you're unable to selcet a certian combo of optic and 226, this is why.
***For customers purchasing the C series optic cut in order to use the 509 adaptor plate, the standard cut will not be the correct length. If you want to use the adaptor plates, please specify this intent in your individual order notes. The cut will be cut slightly oversized for ther plate (your C series optic cut will NOT have a tight fit).***

For Customers getting a 509T Milled, our cut has a relief on the right coner. This is by design. This is not a mistake, nor sloppy machining, its due to the nature of the mounting system. The picture below is a reference of what the cut will look like once complete.

Amazing service and work everytime!
I’m so lucky that VMW is local to me. I love their work and this is the only place I will bring my guns to get my slide cut and optic mounted. They did an amazing job as usual and I love that my red dot is directly mounted to the slide. They also have really cool cerakote jobs that are extremely artful and unique. I also got the chance to shoot their 3L3V3N and really enjoyed it!

Slide milling for Sig P-series pistol slides
I have now had Vulcan cut two P226 slides as well as one each of a P220 Carry and P229 slide for Holosun red dot sights (RMR cut). In every case, Vulcan did an EXCELLENT job! Sig P220 ST Holosun optic cut
Years ago I had an Sig P 220 cut by the master Mark Houssel at L&M Precision. He retired a few years ago and since then, did not trust anyone else to cut my P series Sigs. Until I found these guys. Just got back my P220 ST milled for a Holosun HE 508T and it is wonderful. Wish I could post a picture, such a clean execution. Another Sig slide is heading to them shortly. Great job guys ?

Slide Milling
I had my P229 slide milled for the Holosun EPS. Vulcan mounted the optic and installed my irons as well. Slide was coated DLC black. All work was perfect. I’ll definitely send them another slide in the future for the same work.

P229 optic cut for HS507C X2
The slide cut and cerakote are clean! Couldn’t be happier. Vulcan mounted my optic for me and I’m very pleased with the results. The lead times when I ordered were 4-8 weeks but I got my slide back in 18 days!! Overall I’m super happy I used Vulcan and would definitely recommend.

Holosun optics cut on sig p229 slide
I sent it out and right when they received it they updated me. They kept me updated along the way and when I got it back the cut seemed to be of great quality and had some shipping oil applied to prevent rusting on the bare metal. The pegs and tapped threaded holes for the screws all seem great.

Sig P250
I had my P250 optic cut and DLC coated. I am extremely happy with the end product. The cut and coating it turned out perfectly. It breathed new life into a older gun. I would highly recommend Vulcan Machine.
