DLC coating service for XC guide rod and plug
I sent in the guide rod and spring plug from my Staccato XC to Vulcan Machine Werks for their DLC coating service, and the entire experience was outstanding. The process was simple and straightforward, and I appreciated the regular updates throughout the job. Their communication kept me informed every step of the way, which made the wait much easier. The total turnaround time from the day I shipped the parts to the day they were returned was about six weeks. The finished product was absolutely worth it. The DLC finish looks amazing, with a clean, premium appearance and exceptional attention to detail. Most importantly, everything installed perfectly and operates exactly as expected. The quality of the workmanship is top-notch, and the coated components complement the Staccato XC beautifully. Excellent customer service, great communication, and a fantastic finished product. Ive sent multiple parts to Vulcan for their DLC finish and every time they nail it. Great work and they hold up well. Lead times are a bit long, but I understand theyre busy. The lead time was accurate to their post.

Don’t know why the Staccato P doesn’t come with this in black. My whole P was factory DLC including barrel excerpt the guide rod/ plug. Vulcan took care of that for me when I sent in my P for some custom work.
