Our optics cuts are precision CNC milled to exacting tolerances to give you industry leading performance. A primary feature of our cradle cutting method is the fact the optic will be tight in the cut and will have extremely little to no ability to move once in place (this is by design). Our cuts will also have precise and consistent recoil bossing (where available) to add strength to the cut. This is to ensure the repeated reciprocal forces from firing are not translated exclusively to the mounting screws. No matter if you are in military/law enforcement community, competition community, or personal defense community, our cuts will ensure your optic survives the harshest of firing schedules.
P220/225/226/227/228/229 will have an exposed Safety Block after the optic cut. If we do not have your optic to mount after the work has been completed, you have to insert your Safety Block Spring then mount the optic to hold that assembly in place. P226 Optic Cuts are limited due to the lightening pocket on the underside of the slide. If you're unable to selcet a certian combo of optic and 226, this is why.

The guys at Vulcan communicated effectively and the turnaround was within their estimate. They took the time to save my Rear Site Post when they originally told me that it would have to be removed. Quality machining, highly recomended.

I just received my P226 Elite slide back from Vulcan Machine Werks with the optics cut for my Viridian RXF-35 optic, and it is perfect. The fit and appearance are beautiful. Excellent work and super fast turnaround on the work. I highly recommend!

Slide cut for Wilson Combat P320
My thanks to the staff of Vulcan Machine Werks. All of you are truly magicians. This optic cut was the third one from Vulcan this year for me. All were Sigs, a P227 .45 ACP, my beloved Legion P220 10mm SAO, and now my Wilson Combat P320. Your work is magnificent. My RMRcc fits the slide like it is a single unit and you have turned the handgun into what both Sig Sauer and Bill Wilson should have done when it was originally made. Your DLC coating is better than most customs gun manufacturers put on their handguns. Your work is the best and your turn around time is outstanding!!

Sig P229 RMR Optic Cut

Slide cuts for P220 and P227
I have two Sig handguns that I wanted to have optic cuts performed on, and I (FORTUNATELY) found Vulcan Machine Werks on the internet. First was my P227 Nitron Compact and the work was done beautifully, perfectly, and quickly. The slide refinishing (DLC) is better looking than the original Sig finish and does not wear as fast as the Sig finish does. My second gun was my beloved Sig P220 Legion SAO in 10mm. Not only did they cut the slide beautifully, they mounted my Sig XRAY suppressor sights and the Trijicon SRO red dot optic and finished the slide in DLC (instead of the ugly grey green Sig started putting on their Legions). My P220 is now beautiful and fully functional gun, better than it was Sig made it. Both guns, completed by Vulcan Machine Werks, were made to be the guns that Sig should have made in the first place. Kudos to the Staff from Vulcan Machine Werks; they are easy to deal with, go above their customers' expectations and they give great value for the exceptional service they provide.
