Our optics cuts are precision CNC milled to exacting tolerances to give you industry leading performance. A primary feature of our cradle cutting method is the fact the optic will be tight in the cut and will have extremely little to no ability to move once in place (this is by design). Our cuts will also have precise and consistent recoil bossing (where available) to add strength to the cut. This is to ensure the repeated reciprocal forces from firing are not translated exclusively to the mounting screws. No matter if you are in military/law enforcement community, competition community, or personal defense community, our cuts will ensure your optic survives the harshest of firing schedules.

USP optic cut and cerrakote
Extremely pleased with the service and results! I had the slide on my beloved but dated USP40 milled for an RMR and also did a gold cerrakote (I know it sounds tacky but I love how it turned out). I used the screws they provided and the optic fit perfectly without any jiggling even before tightening the screws. The slide was well used over the years but looks new again with the cerrakote, and the finish came out perfect and even. I am thankful that Vulcan does work on HK USPs since it's very hard to find any other shops that do so, and I think their optics cut is superior to other solutions that require a plate adapter. The whole process was smooth and easy and they notified me by email when they received the slide and when they completed work and sent it out again. Work was complete in less time than quoted as well. I highly recommend!

HK usp 45 optic cut
Got the usp cut for an RMR and had it DLC (nitride) coated. Sent it in middle of May got it back middle of July. So right at 8 weeks. Was pleasantly surprised with the depth of the cut . Wish I'd have measured it before I mounted the optic. The DLC coating is very nice and worth the wait. Oh hey, I super duper wish I'd have sent the optic and sealing plate in with the slide, so they could put it together for me. Finally got it, but what a pain. Won't make that mistake again.

Machined USP 40
Perfectly machined my USP and installed my Holosun Optic. Opted for sniper grey paint. Seriously, perfect execution!! Thanks!
